House of Founders brings around twenty established founders to one house, in a remarkable place, for five days of building new companies with AI. Each Part ends with new companies.
Part I took place in Cape Town in March 2026. Its initiator, Marleen Evertsz (GoldRepublic, Nxchange, Digital Notary), was joined by eight founders and around twenty builders. They came up with 384 ideas in two days and built five companies, all registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. One of them, Superpower Hub, helped more than 150 young people in Cape Town’s townships in its first weeks. More than 1,100 entrepreneurs came to the documentary’s premiere at De Kromhouthal, Amsterdam.
House of Founders is hosted by Lotte van Rijen and Lisette Braakenburg van Backum. Part II takes place in October 2026, with about twenty founders selected from more than a hundred personal conversations. Seats are by invitation.
